Election Bribery

As our election draws near, the major political parites are resorting to bribery. One major party is offering taxcuts for everyone. The other is offering free loans to students and benefits to most families.

By justice a king gives a country stability,
but one who is greedy for
bribes tears it down.
(Prov 29:4)

Rulers who indulge in bribery tear down a nation.

Accepting a bribe is a serious sin. Paying bribes with money that is not your own must be even worse. What are these people doing to our nation?

Proverbs 17:23 says that the wicked man accepts a bribe. By offering bribes our politicians are trying to make us wicked.
