What is Person
I have never studied psychology, but I have given a lot of thought to what makes a person tick.
Some Christians divide a person into body, soul and spirit. But we are really much more complicated than that. The scriptures presents a much more complex picture of human nature.
I will explain everything in turn.

There was never meant to be a division- the division came with gnosticism. The Hebrews conceived of a person as completely integrated. This is why a physical resurrection became so important to them. You might notice today a lot of people have lost this point, and they think some form of spiritual body or perhaps just a new body is what is promised, but the person would never be perfected.
