Two Saviours

We tend to operate with saviours. We have Jesus as a spiritual saviour to rescue us from spiritual problems, from guilt, shame and grief. However, we rely on another saviour for everything else. The political powers are our second saviour, which saves from violence, theft, poverty, sickness.
