America
Earlier this month, I spent a week in America. Most of the time I was in Washington DC, looking for the Beast. Americans talk very loud. Many American men are seriously overweight. American people are really friendly and helpful America is an incredibly militaristic nation.
Here are some of the things that struck me about America.

However, I would point out to you that D.C. is not a great cross sample of most Americans. You're correct on the 2nd and 4th points. I'm thinking that people in the midwest speak softer than our northeast counterparts.
