Empires in Decay

Empires in decay embrace an almost willful suicide. Blinded by their hubris and unable to face the reality of their diminishing power, they retreat into a fantasy world where hard and unpleasant facts no longer intrude. They replace diplomacy, multilateralism and politics with unilateral threats and the blunt instrument of war (Chris Hedges).
We have seen quite a bit of this recently.

"War is A Racket" by S. Butler (sobering read). We are in Ephesians 6:all war and Psalms 91:all
"The Three Battlegrounds" by Francis Frangipane writes it well!

Also, "You Cannot Expect to Spit God In the Face and Remain Here As A Nation", removing him out of Schools, Homes, Churches etc., applies to America and any other STUPID Nation that thought they could do that: "Why Revival Tarries and America is Too Young to Die; Sodom Had No Bible=sobering" by Leonard Ravenhill!

Proverbs 9:10 comes to mind. Forgot Instruction=WORD! Also, Deut. 23 and Deut 28:all also!

"to see a sick church in a dying world, this generation of preachers responsible for this generation of sinners, as the church goes so goes the world" by Leonard Ravenhill and I add: (if the world is corrupt it's because the church is)
